3. What about you, mama? . . . Time to take a day off!
Grab 65 Self-Care ideas, make a plan to get some ‘me’ time and then actually do something for you! This may be a little easier said than done however it’s an absolute MUST! Some of us may get more ‘me’ time than others but we all have to work with what we can get!

I don’t have to tell you how it is to always feel there’s just not enough time in the day, right?!? The reality is . . . Everyone is given the same amount of time in the day. What makes the difference is how we choose to use the time we’re given. Now, I’m in no means an expert in time management however The Ultimate Life Planner for the Everyday Fatigue Mom has helped me get and stay organized. I actually created it out of a necessity to help me balance my work and home life as a work from home mom. For a limited time, you can get this printable planner FREE with the purchase of any of the T-shirts listed in this article. USE code TIREDASAMOTHER at checkout.
I may drink a frappe here and there (which is not really coffee . . . mostly sugar) but I know so moms that can’t live without their coffee. I’m all for anything that helps us moms make through the day!
7. Use Soothing Elements
- Use Essential Oils. Essential oils can be used in diffusers, for sleep, your skin, babies, and so many other things.
- Soothing Tea. I personally don’t really drink tea but some of my mommy friends LOVE tea! I’ve been told it really helps! There are so many different teas that you can use to relieve stress and anxiety.
So, not only are moms tired but we have to deal with others passing judgment as well. There’s usually someone always looking to pass judgment on everything we say and/or do. Someone always has an opinion, right? . . . Especially when it has something to do with YOUR kids. It can be another mom or someone that is not even a mother (which is what I experience the most). This T-shirt sums it up so that the person that’s passing judgment can shut up and you can keep it moving! I love that this Tee comes in a variety of sizes and in a unisex or feminine fit.
Probably because you don’t get enough sleep while still balancing work & home life. . . Am I right? A comfy mattress is just what you might need! A good mattress is so important for moms! When I do have the luxury of sleeping, I like to sleep in my comfy king-sized foam bed. That’s only when I can get my 3-year old to sleep in her own bed, of course! Sometimes it can be something as little as having a comfy bed to rest – whenever you do get a chance to!😜

Some of us are in desperate need of sleep! Sometimes you may get the opportunity to sleep at or take a nap during the day. These are great for the ones of us that have trouble sleeping in the day. If you’re not into wearing eye mask the next best thing is the next item for #10.
If you’re not into sleeping with an eye mask and/or looking to make your room as dark as possible, blackout curtains are the way to go! This is definitely a must-have for many tired mamas.
For me, my bed is my go-to space that I can call my own when I have a few minutes to myself. I love cuddling up under my comfortable and the A/C at 73 degrees. I’ll usually watch TV, scroll social media or take a nap (usually when my lil one is taking a nap). For you, it could be a completely separate room, outside on the patio, etc. Just determine what works for you and make it feel cozy and relaxing as much as you can.
