Self Care Ideas

I believe self care is one of the things that moms put on the shelf when they have their babies. We have to prioritize taking care of ourselves if we expect to give our selves to our children and our spouses. You can’t pour from an empty glass. Making time to yourself is not selfish . . . it’s self love. Making sure that you’re ok, makes sure you can take care of not only yourself but your family as well.

Self Care is very important to me. Like I mentioned before I struggle with this because I always put my girls first but I’ve been changing it up and being a little selfish and making sure I take time out. I feel the meaning of self care has been lost in the age of the internet. I really believe that self care is about taking moments throughout the day and thinking about your own needs and taking care of them. It's not about spa days and hair appointments or bath time with candles.
